Katy graduated from the College of Charleston with a BS in Biology in 2007. Since graduation, she has spent time traveling the world and gaining research experience by serving as a coordinator on a multitude of studies and as the lab manager for the Locomotion Energetics and Assessment Laboratory at the Medical University of South Carolina for the past 7 years. Preferring mountains over beaches, Katy moved to the Stanford area and joined the Brain Stimulation Laboratory team as a Clinical Research Coordinator in September 2016. She is incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to further develop her skills and understanding of brain stimulation as well as learning about the field of hypnosis. Katy’s aspirations are to be accepted into a Clinical Psychology PhD program.
